e-Commerce Product Manager

If you're passionate about e-commerce and creating web experiences that meet, and exceed, customer needs, we are looking for you to join our huge potential company.  This role will be responsible for helping Howdeco become a premier B2C online platform for anything for your home with your preferred interior design.   You must be able to transform data into insights and strategy to improve the Howdeco shopping experience and achieve business goals. You will work both independently and cross-functionally to generate ideas, transform those ideas into technical requirements, and work closely with design and engineering to deliver site enhancements and new features. You will be responsible for owning your roadmap, making appropriate product tradeoffs, and measuring success of your initiatives. 

Responsibilities:

  1. 2+ e-commerce product management experience.
  2. Strong UI/UX experience.
  3. Experience successfully managing projects from conceptualizaton through delivery, on time and on budget.
  4. Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights.
  5. Deep understanding of business strategy and metrics.
  6. Passionate about building functional and engaging user experiences.
  7. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  8. Technical background, or technical orientation (enough to be dangerous).
  9. Strong cross functional leadership experience.
  10. Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for customer focused innovation.
  11. Bachelor’s degree in either a technology or business discipline.
  12. Experience within a home furnishing consumer goods/retail company is a plus.

Marketing Manager

Howdeco is looking for a self driven, analytical leader to aggressively promote our web platform at howdeco.com.  You will be expected to define overarching goals, articulate and execute tactical plans and monitor/manage key business metrics. This is a highly visible role central to our overall business success.   This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and entrepreneurial individual to contribute in a very significant way to a huge potential company.  Given the strategic nature of this role, a qualified candidate must have strong quantitative and analytical skills. This role is a key e-commerce entry point for top-tier consultants, investors, and others looking to enter into the e-commerce space in a high impact role with significant growth potential into a broader leadership position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Define a marketing plan with a clear strategy in understanding and strategic view on all internal/external factors and influences.
  2. Negotiate deftly with internal and external partners (vendors, engineers, other dept managers, senior management) to deliver on cross-functional projects with tight timelines, tight budgets, and very material impact.
  3. Leverage technology to enhance business goals; identify areas for improvement and drive implementation.
  4. Institute rigorous test-and-learn methodology to achieve desired results.
  5. Develop talent within the organization, mentoring/developing small team of analysts.

Qualifications:

  1. Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically.
  2. Able to clearly and consistently work side-by-side with a broad range of seniorities and functions from CEO to customer service to deliver against complex initiatives complete on-time, on-budget, and over target.
  3. Strong preference for candidates with ecommerce or web marketing background.
  4. MBA from top-tier school preferred or equivalent experience.
  5. Able to pivot readily and react to real-time data.
  6. Comfortable in a data-driven business environment.

Operation Manager

Operation Manager

Howdeco is looking for a self driven, Operation Manager to be responsible for defining, owning, and driving execution of the roadmap for howdeco.com platform. These require complex, real-time system architectures; algorithmic bidding models; integration with Howdeco suppliers and customer lifecycle marketing platforms; and process flows for marketers to build and manage the campaigns. This role is a key liaison between Howdeco’s marketing, analytic, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily operation of the howdeco.com platform including promotion of the suppliers’ products on the platform.
  2. Plan for all aspects of successful deployment: people, process, data, and product. Define how all will interact. Oversee and drive change management where needed.
  3. Specify business requirements for current and future internal operation products by conducting competitive assessment of 3rd-party solutions, assessing capabilities of Howdeco’s internal solutions, and working with internal customers to understand end business goals and challenges.
  4. Analyze supplier relationships for the product listings on the web pages. Develop and oversee integration with supplier solutions.
  5. Define requirements for compelling and efficient user interfaces for internal software products.
  6. Develop project plans and manage to a schedule.
  7. Assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules across teams.
  8. Coordinate testing efforts -- ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved.

Qualifications: 

  1. 2+ years' experience in web operation or product management.
  2. Analytical mindset with ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations from complex data sets and process maps.
  3. Prior experience in high performance, fast-paced industry, ideally software, consumer Internet, or online advertising.
  4. A good degree of technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  5. BA/BS in Computer Science, Marketing, or Engineering.
